Villa Jamalu / Jimbaran Beach

The luxury Villa Jamalu is an outstanding holiday villa with panoramic views over Jimbaran Bay. Villa Jamalu sleeps between 8-11 guests and comprises of 2 Master Bedroom Suites and 2 Junior Suites. It comes with its own Villa Manager, Housekeeping and Private Chef. A Masseur can be booked to come to the villa when required. The interiors and furnishings are of the highest quality with expansive living, dining and entertainment areas. There are four air-conditioned bedrooms at Villa Jamalu, including two master bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms are located at pool level and one of the masters is located on the top floor. Each bedroom features a timber floor and is furnished with a king size bed, arm chairs, chests, and bedside tables. Two of the bedrooms have 32” satellite TVs/ DVD players and iPod docks. One of the beds incorporates two spare trundle beds, which roll under the main frame, and are ideal for children.

The beds are oriented towards the ocean view. Air-conditioned dressing areas are fitted with wardrobes and storage space, large wall mirrors and safe deposit boxes. Each bedroom has a marble ensuite bathroom fitted with a walk-in rainshower and handheld shower, a toilet, and a vanity unit with either single or twin washbasins. Each of the two master bathrooms has the additional luxury of a bathtub, one of which is a Jacuzzi tub.The open plan, living & dining Room is located on the top floor and blessed with stunning views across Jimbaran Bay. It also incorporates a feature kitchen. Hugely spacious, and equipped with both air-conditioning and ceiling fans, the room runs the full length of the top floor and is complemented by floor to ceiling glass doors that open onto a covered balcony. The living space is positioned at one end, furnished with two large and comfortable sofas. The dining area is in the middle with a teakwood table for twelve, and the kitchen is at the far end.

Lounge
The air-conditioned lounge beside the pool deck presents a blue theme and lovely artwork. This cosy snug offers a quiet space to chill out and relax. It is equipped with a flat screen 50” TV & DVD player and Bose sound system, and is furnished with an ornately carved Javanese daybed, sofas, lazy chairs, armchair and a coffee table. The feature kitchen is fully equipped with a four burner hob, imported oven, double refrigerator, wine fridge, espresso machine, microwave, and everything else that the chef needs in order to prepare delicious meals. A small air-conditioned study on the same level as the pool deck presents a desk and a daybed that can be used as an additional bed. A good choice of children’s toys has been thoughtfully provided.

The Entertainment Room is located on the basement level next to the gym. This expansive, air-conditioned room features a wooden floor and is furnished with three large sofas and a big coffee table. The walls are adorned with paintings by local artists and the room is equipped with a pool table and a flat screen 50 “TV, DVD player and Bose sound system that covers the whole of the basement level with the facility to play different sounds in each room.

This large and spectacular terrace is perfect for sundowners and alfresco dining. It is furnished with a double sunbed, rustic table and three chairs, built in sofas and a glass topped synthetic rattan dining table for twelve. This is a great space for gatherings and small parties. On a clear day, there is a glorious sunset view across the bay with Bali’s mountains as a backdrop. At night, the terrace is cleverly lit by mood lighting. There is also a barbeque.

Garden & Pool
The villa is built around three sides of a 15 x 7 metre swimming pool . It is salt chlorinated and therefore soft on the earth and gentle on the skin. Bordered by a broad timber deck and stone terrace, and presided over by a 4.5 x 2 metre relaxation ‘bale’ pavilion, the pool is set within a large courtyard with a breathtaking elevated outlook over the ocean and Jimbaran Bay. There is a pool shower and the removable facility of an easy-to-erect, gated, pool fence to ensure the safety of toddlers and young children. The Bose sound system extends to the pool area with outdoor speakers. Additionally, there are two small, private courtyard gardens with lawns, one is located on the lowest level of the villa and the other is located on the top level.
