Beaches
The south has fine white sand and turquoise waters, head west for isolated rocky coves, golden sand lines the north coast and the long sweep of Cala Millor is the most famous beach on the east coast. Mallorca has it all.

Es Trenc is approx.30 minutes by car to Palma, but a perfect world of its own with its soft white sandy shore running back into extensive dunes. Head to the ends of the beach to avoid the crowds as you enjoy this protected environment, the perfect mix of woodland, shore and dune.

You might see the odd celebrity at Cala Deia, they love to buy luxury villas in the beautiful village. The beach is isolated but couldn’t be more beautiful and if you want to dine or drink the two bar/restaurants are great to have a drink or lunch. You should not miss to have once dinner in the well-known “El Olivo” restaurant at the Belmond La Residencia.

Families should head for Playa de Muro, where they’ll find six miles of white sands. Shaded by pines and with a good choice of facilities along its length Playa de Muro is worth a day of your time. Resorts at either end mean that water sports and entertainment are never far away.

Beach Clubs
There is nothing better than relaxing in good company with good food and great entertainment by a clear, blue sea.

Anima Beach is right in the heart of Mallorca’s capital Palma, but offers a perfect escape with its Mediterranean terrace, new menu and variety of packages for guests.

Nikki Beach Mallorca is an exciting new arrival, a global luxury brand that’s constantly in the celebrity news. Whether it really is the “sexiest place on Earth or not it’s certainly glamourous, chic and elegant. Great food and great music.

Mood Beach and Restaurant specializes in sea food, best enjoyed on a long terrace overlooking the yachts in Palma bay. Themed party nights keep things fresh, as do fruit-flavored classes for the excellent signature cocktails. Child friendly too.

Mhares Sea Club, another newcomer, is the beneficiary of a massive investment in design and a lovely location. Try the mojito and head for the chill-out terrace upstairs for a laid back club environment.

Puro Beach has grown from Mallorca to the world. It boasts fabulous food, one of the best pools on the island and excellent musical entertainment. Check out the sunsets with a cocktail in your hand.

Restaurants
Spain is now at the center of the gastronomic world. Wonderful ingredients, strong local food cultures and the most imaginative chefs on the planet mean luxury diners around the world are seeking out the Spanish experience.

Es Fum’s Michelin star was safe in the hands of Rafael Sanchez, who arrived with his own awards in 2013. A constant innovator, Sanchez’s beautifully composed tasting menu should be on your island must-do list.

Tomeu Caldentey at Es Molí d’en Bou is proudly Mallorcan and his menu reflects that, with local produce and island specialties. He was the first native Mallorcan to win a Michelin star on the island, and hasn’t sat back since it arrived in 2004.

Marc Fosh of Simply Fosh won his star in 2002. The chef might be British, but he’s embraced the Mediterranean way of life and its cuisine wholeheartedly and successfully – his dishes are always light and fresh.
