Most of the properties at Finest Holidays are luxury chalets in the Alps. The 5-star hotel SEVERIN*S – The Alpine Retreat in one of Austria’s most beautiful Alpine ski resorts, is a little more, offering a choice of luxury suites and a Residence with outstanding hotel facilities.

Reinhard Strasser is the design guru behind this wonderful building, beautifully set within the Stubenbach part of Lech a few minutes of the resort’s lifts, and fitting in perfectly with Lech’s beautiful Alpine ambience.

Tradition is represented by reclaimed Tyrol timbers and the copper roofs of Alpine custom.  Modernity is everywhere. In the muted tones and minimalist lines; in the very latest wellness and spa facilities; in the straight-out-of-London style of the restaurant; and the very latest entertainment technology for guests as standard.

Relax in the sauna, steam bath or in the infrared cabin. The fitness area includes a hypoxic chamber, a reduced-oxygen training regimen beloved of athletes who really push themselves, and which is perfect for preparing for the high-altitude thrills of the pistes.

The four-bedroom „Residence“  is the epitome of living luxury – with cinema room, lounge with grand piano, spacious dining room with kitchen and fireplace, free-standing bathtub, rain shower, free minibar with Nespresso coffee machine, balcony and sun terrace with hot tub. The living and sleeping area of 423m2 is spread over two levels and works as the perfect holiday apartment within the hotel.  The Residence has a separate entrance and sleeps up to eight guests.

With Austrian head chef Kevin Szalai – experienced in Michelin star restaurants – the team proudly waves the Austrian Flag with a particular emphasis on the use of local products from the mountains, paired with flavors from around the world. For a refined insight into traditional Austrian cuisine external guests are also very welcome in the restaurant.

SEVERIN*S – The Alpine Resort fits perfectly in one of Europe’s most refined resorts.   Lech is a favourite with royal families, but alongside exceptional services has retained its mountain-village charm.

Brilliant skiing – especially for intermediaries – is one of the reasons Lech is a favourite with discerning guests. A new ski lift opened in the 2019/2020 season. Guests can easily reach the villages of St. Anton, St. Christoph, Warth and Zürs.

Lech doesn’t have a reputation for wild partying, with its nightlife tending towards the quiet and sophisticated cocktail-sipping end of the après ski scale. SEVERIN*S – The Alpine Retreat’s own Alpine bar will certainly add to those attractions, and elsewhere in the resort you’ll find lots of places to relax and enjoy fine drinks and wonderful company.
