Description

Luxury ski chalet Bear is one of the few old log chalets remaining in Klosters. Sharing the large Parsenn slopes with neighbouring Davos, charming Swiss luxury ski resort Klosters - dubbed "Hollywood in the Alps" is the British Royal Family's favorite holiday winter sports destination since decades.

Chalet Bear, a most lovely "Choclate Box" chalet is within walking distance to the lifts and village centre with exquisite views of the valley. The winter holiday chalet comes with four bedrooms and sleeps up to eight guests. Each bedroom has its own luxury bathroom.

In front of a warming open fireplace up to 16 holidayers can take their seats at the dining table and enjoy pre-dinner canapés followed by a delicious menu prepared by a private chef in the well stocked kitchen. Also located on the first floor is the living room which has an open fireplace too. Next to the living area there is a pantry bar where guests can sip cocktails or a glass of sprinkling wine. Completing this level is a TV snug that can also be used as a study since the room is equipped with a computer; the plasma TV has Sky channels.

All of the rooms have been beautifully and sympathetically decorated to provide a sumptuous environment, fully in keeping with the warm character of this exceptional Alpine home. Chalet Bear is one of the most exceptional properties in Klosters giving a cosy, high quality, and sensitively designed atmosphere.

Last but not least: Returning from the slopes, both skiers and winter sports enthusiasts will find relaxation and rejuvenation with a sauna session on the ground floor which also houses a laundry room.

Outside, luxury winter holiday chalet Bear has a garage and several parking spaces.

Infos/Activities

A small and traditional village, Klosters offers the low-key atmosphere and relative obscurity that make it the perfect hideaway. The diverse range of activities on offer in summer and winter is well suited to families with children. The English royal family, most notably Prince Charles, has chosen Klosters as their winter ski center for several years. They come for the excellent skiing and the relaxed elegant atmosphere. You will probably like Klosters for the same reasons. The houses surrounding the town proper are a bit more elabo-rate than most other places you’ll visit, giving an immedi-ate tipoff that Klosters is a cut above.

The central town area is small and quaint, but packed with specialty stores. Klosters, with its romantic village-like atmosphere, stands in stark contrast to the nearby Alpine metropolis of Davos. The entire Davos Klosters ski area offers 320 kilometres of runs served by more than 55 lifts.
