Chalet Bacchus is a luxury catered chalet in Courchevel 1650 situated in an enviable position on the Belvédère piste in Courchevel Moriond. It has direct ski in/ski out access and is located a short walk from the centre of this world-famous resort.

Named after the Roman God of wine, this exquisite Alpine chalet with 560sqm of space arranged over five floors has relaxation and enjoyment at the forefront of its design. Home to seven unusually large en-suite bedrooms, all with balcony or terrace access, the brand-new Bacchus accommodates 14 guests in sumptuous surrounds. The top floor of the chalet is dedicated to an large master suite with its own private balcony. Every bedroom offers a flexible super-king or twin layout and four of the five floors are served by a lift.

Relaxation is the key focus of Chalet Bacchus and the entire lower ground floor is dedicated to a large spa and cinema. Unwind after a hard day’s skiing with a dip in the 10-metre pool or relax in the adjacent sunken jacuzzi. There is a sauna, a hammam and an exterior private heated courtyard accessed via floor-to-ceiling glass doors. A tranquil treatment room is situated one floor up, allowing the need for a restorative massage by an expert local therapist. Down the hallway from the spa is the cinema, equipped with the latest movie theatre technology and lavish tiered sofas.

A double-height open-plan lounge with spacious dining area dominates the second floor. With a nod to its namesake, a large wine cellar is on display and the living area is complemented by full-length glass windows which flood the expansive room with light and panoramic mountain views. This floor also hosts a state-of-the-art kitchen from where a chef can create culinary magic. A large contemporary bar, perfect for a pre-dinner drink completes the picture inside, with a giant hot tub outside on the balcony overlooking the slopes being the cherry on the cake!

Infos/Activities

Courchevel 1650 (Courchevel Moriond) is located in the Three Valleys. It is part of 5 Courchevel villages with a range of luxury holiday chalets. It is a fantastic ski resort for families. Moriond does not have such an exclusive and elitist atmosphere as Courchevel 1850, everything is a bit more relaxed. The centre of Moriond is located on the main road that connects Courchevel Village with Courchevel 1850. Shops, bars and restaurants are plentiful, so there's a good choice for everyone. A good bus system connects La Praz/La Tania with Courchevel. This is one of the best ski areas in the world, 600km to discover. 2 ski lifts connect Courchevel 1850 and Courchevel 1650.

You could ski or snowboard Les 3 Vallées terrain for weeks and not cover it all. "Zen Zones" or beginner improvement zones were introduced in the Courchevel Valley. The zones are located in 1850, 1650 and Le Praz and have been specifically designed for beginners and nervous skiers. The lifts are easy to access and the slopes are very well groomed and uncrowded. There are seven ski and snowboard schools in the Courchevel Valley with more than 650 instructors speaking 25 different languages. Lessons and packages are available for all ages and ability levels.

The Courchevel Valley has four ski in/ski out villages all named for their altitudes; Courchevel 1850, Courchevel 1650, Courchevel 1550 and Courchevel 1300.

The lift system of Courchevel 1650 offers good and comfortable access to the mountains. Access to Courchevel 1850 is via the main road A free bus service links all four of Courchevel's villages, giving visitors an even wider choice of restaurants, bars, cafés and shops. You can also land private planes directly at Courchevel's Altiport.

Courchevel Moriond is famous for its great slopes and good network of lifts. The beginner ski area at Courchevel 1650 is at the foot of the local pistes, while beyond are long, racy blue and green runs, very good for advanced skiers. Challenging black routes can be found in the couloirs above Courchevel 1850, while powder lovers will find plenty of backcountry in Les Avals. Skiing in Courchevel Moriond is ideal for all skiers.
