Description

Chalet Côz is a striking ski-in/ski-out residence in Rochebrune, combining generous proportions, sophisticated interiors and an outstanding range of facilities across approximately 900sqm. Designed for 10 to 15 guests, this luxury ski chalet in Megève extends over five floors and offers six en-suite bedrooms, including a children’s dormitory sleeping five. Direct access to the slopes makes mornings effortless, while the chalet’s elevated setting and expansive interiors create a private retreat for families and groups.

The principal living floor is both impressive and inviting, with soaring ceilings, extensive glazing and warm timber detailing creating a wonderful sense of space. Soft neutral tones, carefully chosen furnishings and a large fireplace give the room a calm, elegant character, while generous seating areas encourage guests to gather after a day on the mountain. A spacious dining area and beautifully equipped kitchen complete the social heart of the chalet, complemented by two separate bars that add to the relaxed atmosphere for evening drinks and entertaining.

Wellness and entertainment are central to the experience at Chalet Côz. Guests can unwind in the private indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi and hammam, or continue their training in the gym before settling into the cinema for a quiet evening. A dedicated wine cellar provides another distinctive feature, while the chalet’s generous layout allows different generations to enjoy their own space without losing the sense of staying together under one roof. Every floor is connected by lift for added convenience.

The six bedrooms are arranged to provide both privacy and flexibility. Four double bedrooms occupy the second floor, while the children’s dormitory on the first floor offers five individual beds and its own en-suite bathroom. Crowning the chalet on the upper level, the master suite is a particularly private retreat with its own fireplace, dressing room, television and generous en-suite bathroom. Several bedrooms open onto balconies or terraces, extending the living space towards the surrounding mountain scenery.

Practical facilities are equally comprehensive, with a ski room and heated boot storage, private laundry facilities, staff accommodation and garage parking for up to five cars. Chalet Côz enjoys direct ski-in/ski-out access in the Rochebrune area of Megève, with the gentle green Grands Champs piste passing beside the chalet. The Grands Champs chairlift is less than 30 metres away, while the Rochebrune lift can be reached approximately 170 metres downhill, providing convenient access to the wider ski area. The setting works particularly well for families and mixed-ability groups, with easy terrain immediately on the doorstep. Megève’s pedestrianised village centre is around a 10-minute walk away, approximately 1.1km, offering an excellent choice of restaurants, cafés, bars, designer boutiques and ski shops.

Megève gives access to a vast skiing area of slopes suitable for all levels of skiers. Most of the runs are best for intermediates and beginners, but there are still 23% advanced and expert skiing pistes and excellent off-piste opportunities. A modern system of 84 lifts has been established in the resort. Additional skiing opportunities are available in the neighbor resorts of Combloux and Saint-Gervais-les-Bains. 75km of picturesque trails are at the disposition of cross-country skiers. The snow season here continues from mid-December to Mid-April with sufficient amount of snow during that time.
