Chalet des Sens / Megève
Living Area: 890 m2
The extraordinary luxury Chalet Des Sens is surely among the best ways to experience the beautiful Alpine resort of Megève in the French Alps. Chalet Des Sens is a superb mixture of beauty and luxury, a perfect form with peerless function that delivers a superlative guest experience. Chalet Des Sens is a sensuous treat for up to eight adult guest with a cute bunk room for up to four children.
Chalet Des Sens wonderfully blends traditional design and materials with modern style and futuristic facilities. The main living and dining area is huge and hugely impressive, a real tour de force in French chic, Alpine comfort, and design excellence. A concert grand piano catches the eye first, before comfortable seating, a wood-burning fire and a big, big dining table draw you in to a space that just invites you to relax. Super-high ceilings make the most of the light that floods in through huge windows, opening out onto terraces with woodland and mountain views.
A party of 12 can enjoy this massive property of nearly 900sqm, with adults enjoying four superb en-suite double bedrooms. All the rooms are individually styled, but share the same theme – luxury and relaxation, with muted colors, soft furs and fabrics, and the best quality linens and bathroom products. The master suite boasts a dressing room and a huge screen with Apple TV. The wellness and leisure areas are so extensive that they command a whole floor. A huge Jacuzzi is closer to a small swimming pool in size than a bath, and a mineral spa is complemented by a North African-style hammam steam room – the current gold standard for Alpine steam treatments.
A gym will help you stay in trim, and when you just want to turn off you can tune in to the TV room or rediscover your inner child in the brilliantly equipped games room, with table football and pool the games menu. The cinema room really lives up to its name, with an enormous screen on which to enjoy the latest movies. The audio-visual equipment includes Sky TV, Apple TV, international (including Russian and Arabic channels) TV and Wi-Fi throughout. A smart, compact office is the place to head when you do need to check your messages. Chalet Des Sens must be seen to be believed, and experienced to be truly appreciated, and is sure to be popular and in demand this year and every year.
Mont d'Arbois is one of Megève's most exclusive locations, named for a mountain that towers above, and originally developed around the Rothschild family’s Alpine chalets.

The Megève mountain resort is situated at 1,115m above sea level. The charming Alpine town is part of the Évasion Mont Blanc region with stunning luxury chalets for rent, catered and self-catered. Many have a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and gym, for the very best luxury ski holidays.
With its traditional rustic atmosphere and authentic medieval architecture, it seems that Megève has always existed up there, just like the fascinating mountain scenery of smooth pastures, mystery-green forests and stunning heights all around. Megève is like a fairytale picture of old times. Narrow streets and old buildings form its enchanting medieval centre; the pedestrian zone with the horse-drawn sleighs and carriages passing only add a magical touch, almost imaginable serenity of a trip into history.
But still, the town offers infinite range of entertainment, so tourists can enjoy after returning from back-in-time. Megève at night is an experience you should not miss. 9 discos and plenty of clubs and bars create the special lively atmosphere of the nocturne town. There is a casino for those who feel "lucky tonight" and a prefect selection of various restaurants for those who prefer nice food and fine wines! In fact, Megève is known as one of the most valuable gastronomic stops of the Alps and a famous French culinary spot. During the day you could enjoy the majestic mountain landscapes from the terrace of a café, or take a traditional lunch in a cosy bistro in the medieval heart of the town.
