Just two minutes by car or a ten-minute walk from the village centre and the Télécabine de l’Olympique, this exceptional luxury ski chalet in Val d’Isère offers 700 square metres of living space and six en-suite bedrooms accommodating ten adults and four children. Its striking timber construction, impressive proportions and contemporary interiors give the property a distinctive character, complemented by extensive private spa and leisure facilities.

The expansive open-plan living and dining area is distinguished by high timber ceilings, exposed beams and elegant modern furnishings. The wood-burning fireplace lends warmth to the main lounge, while the dining area, seating twelve, is well suited to leisurely dinners and relaxed evenings. A stylish open kitchen and bar complete the principal living spaces, offering a comfortable balance between entertaining and quieter moments.

Six en-suite bedrooms are arranged across four floors, providing privacy and flexibility for guests travelling together. The master suite occupies the uppermost level, while three double bedrooms are situated on the second floor. A spacious bedroom combining a double bed with two bunk beds provides dedicated accommodation for parents and children, and a further double bedroom completes the layout on the ground floor. For evenings spent at home, the private cinema offers a welcome alternative to the lively après-ski scene of Val d’Isère. With such extensive facilities, this luxury wellness chalet is equally appealing for an active ski vacation or a quieter winter escape.

A private ski room with heated boot warmers makes preparing for the slopes convenient, while a lift, air conditioning and indoor and outdoor parking add to the comfort of the stay. LUXURY SKI HOLIDAYS IN VAL D'ISÈRE

Val d'Isère’s charming village is a colorful winter sports haven, originally founded as a farming community centuries ago. Today, the village is home to around 1,800 residents, but during winter, this number swells to more than 30,000, thanks to the influx of skiers and visitors. The western and central parts of the village are easily recognizable for their classic chalet-style architecture, while the eastern part features modern high-rise buildings.

Historically significant, Val d'Isère received parish rights in 1637, and the parish church, built in 1664, remains a landmark at the heart of the village. Together with the nearby resort of Tignes, Val d'Isère is part of the Espace Killy, an area famously dubbed the "Most Beautiful Ski Area in the World". The resort is set at the base of a V-shaped valley and is accessible via La Daille, where you’ll pass by the Lac du Chevril. Beneath the lake lies the old town of Tignes, which was submerged in 1952 to create the new dam.

One of the highlights of a Val d'Isère ski holiday is the après-ski experience, particularly at Folie Douce. Located at the top of the ski slopes, it’s renowned for its vibrant après-ski parties. A ski down from the venue, directly into the village, is an exciting way to end your day, although it’s only suitable for strong intermediates and above due to its steepness.

SKIING IN VAL D'ISÈRE

Val d'Isère is a paradise for skiers of all levels, offering a mix of groomed slopes and backcountry skiing. The resort is known for its challenging slopes, making it a favorite among experienced skiers and powder addicts. For those seeking adventure off-piste, Val d'Isère provides plenty of untouched powder and has a number of ski guides available to show you the best routes.

Val d'Isère is part of the Espace Killy ski area, which links Val d'Isère and Tignes, offering over 300km of ski slopes. The Pissaillas Glacier offers summer skiing, and the area is serviced by high-capacity gondolas, chairlifts, and even a funicular (the Funival), which takes you from La Daille to the top of Bellevarde.

Whether you’re looking for easy, wide pistes or steep, off-piste terrain, Val d'Isère caters to all types of skiers. The main lifts and gondolas offer convenient access to the area’s best slopes, and the ski area is equipped with four snow parks and extensive cross-country trails.

Val d'Isère is a prime destination for those seeking wellness and relaxation after a day on the slopes. The resort has several spas and wellness centers, offering everything from massages to thermal baths, providing the ultimate way to unwind and recharge.

For families, Val d'Isère has a variety of family-friendly activities, including children's ski schools, tobogganing areas, and indoor play zones.
