Description

Chalet Doss in Madonna di Campiglio provides a perfect blend of traditional charm and luxury, ideal for larger groups seeking an unforgettable ski holiday in the Dolomites. This beautifully restored farmhouse, set in the tranquil surroundings of the Parco Adamello Brenta national park, offers a serene retreat with convenient access to the slopes. The nearest ski lift, "Colarin", is just a short 7-minute drive away, linking the ski areas of Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo. With nine bedrooms, the chalet accommodates up to 23 guests, making it a superb choice for gatherings.

Carefully renovated in 2020, Chalet Doss has retained all its charm and magical simplicity. With giant larch beams, roaring fires, and granite stones, it creates the perfect holiday home with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The centrepiece of the chalet is the living room where a vast fireplace creates a focus point to gather round and enjoy an pre-dinner cocktail on comfy sofas after a skiing day. For dinner, head to the long dining table where evening meals will be served beneath the giant larch timbers and granite stones of the house.

Interconnected with the main room is a fully equipped kitchen, serving as the stage for the private chef. There is a fully stocked prosecco fridge and two traditional tables for breakfasts and kid’s meals in the cosy corners. The kitchen looks out over a terrace with the meadows and river beneath. Step out onto the terrace and catch the sun or indulge in al fresco dining. For leisure, the chalet offers a cinema room complete with a PS5 for watching films or gaming, while a pool table provides endless entertainment for guests of all ages before dinner.

The chalet’s sleeping quarters are thoughtfully arranged across four floors, featuring nine beautifully appointed bedrooms, blending understated elegance with natural materials like stone and wood. Many of the double rooms are equipped with twin mattresses, allowing for flexible arrangements to suit individual preferences. On the top floor, the master suite opens onto its own private balcony, allowing for tranquil views over the surrounding forest and mountain stream, in complete seclusion. It enjoys a spacious en-suite bathroom, which is shared with an adjoining children’s bunk room. This cosy children's room, perfect for two, has convenient Jack & Jill access to the master bathroom, making it ideal for families.

On the ground floor, a serene double bedroom has its own private shower room, while another versatile bedroom, which can be configured as a double or twin, includes an additional mezzanine bed for a child, as well as its own en-suite shower room. The lower ground floor houses two further double or twin bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms, and two additional family-friendly rooms, each featuring a double or twin bed alongside a set of bunk beds, and their own en-suite facilities. For those seeking extra privacy, the chalet’s annex, accessible via a separate entrance, provides a secluded double or twin bedroom, complete with an en-suite shower room, offering the perfect retreat away from the main living spaces.

The spa, located on the lower ground floor of Chalet Doss, provides the ultimate retreat for relaxation after a day on the slopes. It features an indoor hot tub, ideal for soothing tired muscles and unwinding in complete comfort. For those who prefer to enjoy the fresh mountain air, there is also an outdoor hot tub equipped with hydro massage jets. Here, guests can immerse themselves in the warmth of the bubbling water while taking in the serene views of the surrounding landscape.
