Necker Island in the Virgin Islands transcends the mere aggregation of its elements. While it undeniably embodies the essence of a luxurious party island, the conception of luxury extends beyond plush beds, gourmet cuisine, cutting-edge activities, and top-notch facilities – though, naturally, you can anticipate all of these. Previously dubbed as "barefoot luxury," our aspiration is to evoke a sense of returning home upon your arrival on the island, whether it's your initial visit or your fifteenth.

Unless you feel completely at ease from the moment you step onto the island we haven’t done our jobs properly. This is your home, but one where you don’t have to lift a finger. You may well forget what ‘real life’ is like during your stay, but that’s ok with. The Great House has a Master Suite with a sitting area, outdoor Jacuzzi, and a Victorian bathtub on the private terrace. In addition, there are 6 double rooms and one Junior Suite, each with a balcony (some shared), king-size beds with mosquito nets and en-suite bathrooms (without baths). Increasing the guest capacity to 28 people, the authentic cliff side Balinese houses Bali Hi, Bali Cliff and Bali Lo offer elegant villa accommodations with private pools, open-air lounges, and private dining areas. Bali Lo and Bali Buah and Bali Kukila are built in the middle of the island and boast wonderful panoramic views with a large private pool.

THE BEACH HOUSE: Also located in the Main Beach area. The Beach House has an expansive communal area on the ground floor, with an impressive bar, lots of seating, space for game tables, and a huge sofa that is 26 feet long - that’s 8 metres! The sofa is positioned in front of a massive flat screen TV - perfect for catching up on the latest DVDs or for just relaxing in the shade when the sun’s at its hottest. The upper floor is designed for communal dining, with a large table and some great views out onto the tennis courts on one side and out to sea on the other!
THE GYM: Located adjacent to the Bali Leha Spa, our fullyequipped gym has stunning sea views that will definitely take your mind off all that hard work!
NECKER ISLAND SPA TREATMENTS: Leha Leha is the Balinese way of describing peace, relaxation and daydreaming, and there is no better place to experience this than with a spa treatment in a Necker Island Bali Leha spa treatment room. We have two fully trained resident beauty therapists offering a fabulous range of treatments. These are not included in our normal rates and a treatment list is available on request. The two treatment rooms are called Bali Leha and Bali Samudra (Samudra means ocean in Indonesian). Bali Leha is just a short walk from the Great House and Bali Samudra is adjacent to the Beach House on Main Beach.

Fine food is the highlight of any guest’s stay, and the rates are fully inclusive of all food and beverages, including fine champagne. Guests can set the menu and mealtimes. The wonderful chefs can prepare dishes for all tastes. Dining can be formal or informal, indoor or outdoor, themed or traditional, beachside or poolside, or even under the stars! We stock a fine range of wines, top quality spirits, beers and excellent house champagne. Guests are encouraged to treat Necker Island like their own home and to help themselves to anything they want, at any time.

Necker Island is spread over 74 acres with a 3 mile perimeter and there are a number of trails crossing the island. You can also walk all the way round, something Richard does on a regular basis. From the Great House it’s a leisurely 6-7 minute walk to Main Beach where most of the activities are based and where you’ll find the Beach House and Crocodile Pavilion. It’s roughly the same distance to the Bali Hi complex of Bali Houses and it’s a little bit further to the Bali Lo complex of Bali Houses – allow for a 10 minute walk. If you’re in a hurry or it’s just too hot our team will be happy to give you a lift to your destination.

The island can be hired exclusively for groups of up to 30-34 people, or if you’re not looking to hire it exclusively you can still enjoy the Necker experience by taking a room as a couple, individual or family for a 7-night stay during selected weeks throughout the year – it's called ‘Celebration Weeks’.

Various kinds of activities are available such as windsurfing and kite surfing, sailing and speed boats,  Kayaks, Waterskiing and much more.
