Only a few moments walk from the center of the bustling village, Cristal de Roche boasts the best views of any property or hotel in Courchevel 1850. With views over the village and on to the valley of Bozel and Pralognan opposite. The chalet is almost ski in/ski out - across the road is a blue piste giving access to the Plantrey chairlift and the main lift station is only 200 meters down the road.
This beautiful penthouse apartment is on the second and third floor and boasts an open plan sitting and dining room with a double height, vaulted ceiling giving a real feeling of space. There is a huge fireplace with a crackling log fire and a large balcony from where you can admire the breathtaking view by day or night.
Above the sitting room is a galleried mezzanine and games area giving some space for children to play or watch TV in peace. The wood paneling throughout lends an authentic and homely chalet style and a warm ambience for a luxury skiing holiday.
The chalet is best suited to 6 people, although it can sleep up to 8. The bedrooms are relatively small, but each has it's own en-suite bath or shower room (most were refurbished last year). The two bedrooms on the upper floor, including the master, are situated in the eaves. The two bedrooms downstairs have their own bathrooms and share a WC and due to their character, ceiling heights are fairly low. All beds are built-in.
Room 1 - Double/Twin:This room can be set up as a double or a twin room and has a small bathroom. WC is across the landing and is shared.
Room 2 - Double: This double room has an en-suite bathroom. The small fitted double bed (190cm x 140cm) is beautifully decorated and there is space for a cot. The WC is shared.
Room 3 - Double: The master double bedroom is situated under the eaves and is full of character with a partially fitted bed. It has an en-suite bathroom (shower and bath) and WC. Suitable for a cot.
Room 4 - Double .A double room under the eaves with a fitted bed and an en-suite shower room.

SKIING IN COURCHEVEL
Offering 600 kilometres of endless marked trails plus unlimited off piste you could ski or snowboard the Les 3 Vallées terrain for weeks and not cover it all. "Zen Zones", located in 1850, 1650 and Le Praz, were specifically designed for beginners and nervous skiers. The lifts are easy to access and the slopes are very well groomed and uncrowded. There are seven ski and snowboard schools in the Courchevel Valley with more than 650 instructors speaking 25 different languages. Lessons and packages are available for all ages and ability levels.
