Chalet Genepi is modern and luxury chalet set in the heart of Morzine. Chalet Genepi has been built with absolute attention to design in every aspect. From the outstanding architecture of the building itself to the interiors and furnishings, everything in Chalet Genepi has the wow factor.
Set over four floors, the chalet has two distinctive large entertaining areas, both with plenty of room for when the chalet is at full occupancy. On the entrance level, a large living room with a bar area opens on to an outdoor terrace where you will find a hot tub that takes in the view of the close by Pleney ski runs. This is the perfect extra entertaining space as you will find the TV area here as well as a pool table and bar. The built-in blackboard wall is sure to bring out the creative artist in little and big kids alike.
A communal WC is located in this area and a large bedroom is set off the living area. It can be configured as a twin or double room and has it’s own en-suite shower room. A spectacular staircase leads to the upper levels where attention to design has been key. The modern chandeliers that adorn the staircase and living areas combined with flashes of bright colours and textures make this chalet a standout luxury chalet in which to spend your Alpine holiday.
On the basement level of the chalet you will find a double garage, parking and boot room with both heated boot and glove racks. There is also ample racks and hooks for ski and bike storage.

Morzine is set high in the valley of the River Dranse at an altitude of 1,000m in the Northern Alps. A beautiful Alpine village, Morzine has a bustling centre and is packed with great facilities. With fabulous restaurants and bars, a weekly market, ice rink, swimming pool and ski joering - all perfect for keeping the whole family entertained.
The skiing resort Morzine can be found between Lake Leman and Mont Blanc. Part of the vast Les Portes du Soleil ski area the pittoresque place has kept its 11th century Savoyard look where you will find traditional wooden luxury ski chalets with slate roofs which makes you feel like you are in a real Alpine village rather than a large man-made ski resort. Previously ruled over by the Dukes of Savoie it is now part of the Haute Savoie region of France.

Most of the ski resorts in Les Portes du Soleil have grown around traditional valley villages - only Avoriaz and the very small Les Crosets and Torgon were purposely built during the mid-sixties. Morzine and Châtel are the largest of the traditional towns in the area. As a whole the skiing is relatively low in altitude compared to most French destinations.
The highest skiing is just below 2,500 metres and the lowest approximately 900 metres. However, the area is heavily influenced by the microclimate between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, which generates very substantial snowfall between November and April making it possible to keep the area open to skiing typically from early December until mid to late April. Some of the lower stations close around April 1 or earlier depending on snow conditions though.
