Chalet Shalimar is Zermatt’s best luxury chalet for large groups. Located in the heart of Winkelmatten, Chalet Shalimar offers stunning views of the Matterhorn. The spa area on the ground floor has an indoor swimming pool, sauna, hammam and massage room for the perfect relaxation. The holiday chalet can accommodate 20 guests in 10 bedrooms, all with en-suite bath and shower rooms. Each bedroom can be configured as twin bedrooms with single duvets. For smaller groups Chalet Shalimar can be split in two apartments. Apartment Elena sleeps eight and Penthouse Alex twelve.

Each has its own living room and all important facilities for maximum comfort. The village centre of Zermatt is approx.15 minutes walking distance, there is also the option to take an electric taxi. Guests can ski to and from the luxury chalet and the gondola nearby takes them up to the glacier. An ideal location for the most discerning skier. All apartments have wonderful views of the Matterhorn from the balconies or terraces. On the top floor of Chalet Shalimar are the living and dining rooms which have floor to ceiling sliding doors allowing light to flood in. Alpine wood and timber creating a relaxing and cosy atmosphere.

The large balconies offer stunning views of the Matterhorn providing the perfect back drop for a pre-dinner drink or for soaking in the rays in the spring warmer months. After the sun sets cosy up on the sumptuous sofas in front of the roaring fire. The main dining room can sit up to 20 people when taken as a whole chalet and the flexible living areas mean there is always somewhere to find peace and quiet.
