Piccolo Cesare / Capri
Those familiar with Capri will know that this beautiful island is not an easy one to get around. Few properties are easily reached without the trials of steep slopes and endless steps and some are only accessible on foot.
The Piccolo Cesare however is blessed with countless privileges and comforts on this account. This unique villa is easily accessible both on foot (by crossing the famous little piazza, full of colourful Mediterranean flowers and plants), or by car (there is a car park in the villa’s grounds).
The luxurious villa looks onto the Faraglioni, two enormous vertical rocks protruding from the sea, symbol of Capri and often seen in the postcards of Capri. The wonderful terrace-garden to one side of the villa has an elegant lounge area, an open-air kitchen, a gazebo with dining table for dining ‘al fresco’, and an unusually shaped swimming pool.
The property is divided into two separate units - When rented together, all the terrace-garden’s facilities can be used. The units can, however, also be rented out separately, in this case, Unit 2 has the exclusive use of the pool and the gazebo, whilst Unit 1 has the exclusive use of the lounge area, open-air kitchen and dining table. The vegetation offers a little more privacy.
The property has recently been refurbished and both units are in immaculate condition. The furnishings are elegant and of a high standard in both units, although Unit 2 is the more luxurious of the two. Bathrooms are new and comfortable and all rooms have a sea view.
For those who prefer the beach to the pool, the famous / best sandy beach and restaurant of “Marina Piccola” is within walking distance. The restaurant also offers a bar providing sun-loungers and umbrellas.
has a living / dining room with direct access to the sea view terrace, kitchen area and two double bedrooms, one with French windows onto the terrace. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms; one with shower and the other with bath.
is a bigger and more luxurious apartment, right on the poolside. It has a large living / dining room, elegantly furnished with direct access to the pool and a kitchen with microwave oven. There are two double bedrooms on the first floor; both with sea views and en-suite bathrooms (one with shower, one with bath).
Outdoors there is a large terrace with panoramic views and steps leading down to a very large terrace-garden with swimming pool, open-air kitchen, lounge area, and dining table.
Extra features include: air-conditioning in all rooms, superbly furnished terraces, breathtaking views and the close proximity to the sea. All amenities are close by with a supermarket and restaurant at 200 metres, and the main square with various banks, bars and restaurants within 15 minutes walk or 1 minute drive.
Additional note - No pets are allowed and this property is not suitable for children under 11 unless under supervision of a babysitter. Naples 25 km / 15,5milesRome 260 km / 161miles

Travel to Capri is a highlight of a Naples or Amalfi Coast vacation. The island's top attraction is the famous Blue Grotto, Grotta Azzurra. The Villa San Michele, an art-filled refuge created by Swedish physician, author and amateur archaeologist Axel Munthe, is Anacapri’s most popular attraction.
The Belvedere de Tragara is the most popular lookout over Capri’s natural phenomenon, the Faraglioni.
Marina Piccola, the south harbor, has restaurants and a rocky beach with swimming. I had an excellent lunch on the terrace of Ciro' Restaurant with beautiful views of the sea and the Faraglioni rock formations.
Capri is the main town of the island. Piazza Umberto I, often called La Piazzetta, is the central square that houses cafes and the cathedral of Santo Stefano. Certosa of San Giacomo is a 14th century monastery near the town of Capri. It houses a museum and library and holds concerts.
The Phoenician Steps, 800 ancient steps connecting Anacapri to the sea.
Anacapri, the highest town on the island, has splendid views of the harbor below.
