Set amidst the Lebombo mountain ridges at the confluence of the Nwanetsi and Sweni Rivers, a rare wilderness experience with spectacular scenery boasts the highest concentration of wildlife in the entire park.

Lebombo Lodge is constructed almost entirely of wood and glass with light modernist interiors to create a sense of space and oneness with the African bush. It is bold, modern, Lebombo's chic, crisp design is offset by its spectacular, exposed location and open, lofty spaces.Like the Lebombo Euphorbia tree after which it was named, the design of Lebombo Lodge is one of a kind. From the sweeping wooden decks, you can watch the theatre that unfolds before you, while the lap pool beckons to enjoy a relaxing afternoon. The fifteen suites feature contemporary finishes with beds dressed with Egyptian cotton and silky-soft throws. Enjoy dinner in the boma, then spend the evening, if you so wish, sleeping under the stars on the bed of your private terrace.

Sweni Lodge exudes a sense of intimacy and seclusion in the dappled shade on the banks of the Sweni River. Sweni is soft and intimate, the small and cozy yet modern lodge is cocooned in tranquility and nestled on the banks of the Sweni River. Sweni Lodge was influenced by the structures of dens, warrens and lairs found in the area. Flanking the Sweni River, this tranquil sanctuary is elevated on stilts with decks of timber. Even when you’re indoors, you’ll have the sensation of being close to the river and trees.

The six secluded suites, with tactile furnishings, have been carefully created to bring in the textures and shades of the bush. Designed with open-plan living in mind, your suite flows from the bathroom area, through to the lounge and into the bedroom – yet if you wish, each area may be sealed off by curtains. Try the outdoor shower overlooking the river or – for a magical experience – ‘camp out’ under the stars on the day bed out on your viewing deck.

Singita Lebombo Lodge can accommodate 30 guests in 15 suites
All suites are en-suite with an inside and outside shower, bath, mini bar and fridge, room safe, air-conditioning, overhead fans, direct dial telephones and game viewing deck with a day bed. All the suites have direct dial telephones. The main lodge boasts an open-plan lounge and bar area complete with a library and internet and computer facilities.

Dining areas overlook the expanse of the Lebombo Concession. There is also a gymnasium, health spa, wine cellar, traditional boma and a swimming pool on the property.

Sweni Lodge can accommodate 12 guests in 6 suites
The luxury air-conditioned suites have floor-to-ceiling glass walls, luxurious bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, an expansive living area, mini bar and fridge, room safe and private wooden leisure decks with a day bed. All the suites have direct dial telephones. The main lodge boasts lounge and timber deck dining areas with views of the bush & Sweni river, a bar area, a lounge area (complete with fireplace), a swimming pool and a wine cellar.

About the South African rates

Rates are quoted in Rand (ZAR), subject to change and are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at 14%.
Singita reserves the right to amend tariff in the event of currency fluctuations.
Single supplement only applies if 3 of more single are booked. The tariff is then the per night rate plus a surcharge of 25% per person.

With the exception of Singita Lebombo Lodge, children of all ages are welcome and bookings are subject to availability. In the interest of safety, participation of children in any game activities is at the discretion of their guide. At Singita Lebombo Lodge children over the age of 10 are welcome.

When booking a double room, children 18 and under pay 50%. Families of 4 or more, with children (18 and under), are guaranteed a private Land Rover at no extra cost.

There are five Singita lodges in two special parts of South Africa, known for their large concentration of game, including the ‘Big 5’ (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo). The Sabi Sand Reserve, crossed by the Sand River, has groves of Acacia Thornveld and Marula trees giving way to open expanses of grassland where zebra, antelope and wildebeest graze freely. The region is particularly famous for leopard sightings. Singita Kruger National Park is located on the Park’s eastern border with Mozambique where large prides of lion thrive, including the famous Mountain Pride of lions.
