Villa Sa Punta / Bunyola -West
The villa is luxuriously appointed throughout with a blend of contempory and traditional Mediterranean design with a wealth of exposed Oak beams and extensive teracotta tiling.
Son Bunyola is an impressive 160.000m2 (4000 acres) country estate set in mountains, valleys, pine forests, farmland and 5km`s of coastline on the stunning North West Coast, just south of Valldemossa.
Central to the estate is a large historic manor house dating from the 1800's, unused now but forming an incredible centre piece to the dramatic scenery. Terracing surrounds the manor house with vines, citrus fruit trees, almonds and olive trees. In the past, Son Bunyola was a very important Finca on the island and used to produce its own olive oil and wine but farms in this area became less economic as machinery replaced manual labour. Richard Branson restored much of the land to its former glory and planted many fruit trees and vines, which are still tended. He also developed the luxury villa.
Relaxation and enjoyment of the nature and tranquillity is the main activity at Son Bunyola. Guests are free to enjoy walking on the numerous paths on the estate, among the terraced olive trees or down to the small rock and pebble beach. Whilst wandering around, you may be lucky enough to spot eagles, kestrels, herons and lovely striped woodpeckers.
Terracota coloured stone walls compliment the cobblestone, tranquil courtyards and extensive terraces. The perfectly located 15.00m heated swimming pool has cushioned, sunloungers complimented with your personal pool towels changed daily.Surrounded by extensive lawns with mature scented pine trees framing the beautiful sea views and rugged coastline. The tennis court within the grounds is available for your use.
