Chalet Les Sapins / Les Gets
Description
Chalet Les Sapins is a brand new exquisite luxury ski chalet in Les Gets. Its position just 50m from the Bruyère blue run down to the Chavannes Express chairlift, that takes skiers up the main Morzine-Les Gets ski area, makes Les Sapins a true ski to door vacation chalet and the ideal starting point for ski holidays in the cross-border winter sports domain of the Portes du Soleil. Apart from enjoying ski in/ski out access holiday chalet Les Sapins can impress with spectacular views, exquisite furnishings and an outdoor hot tub.
Les Sapins is a four floor alpine skiing chalet and can welcome 10 guests, 8 adults and 2 children. The living and dining quarters are on the second floor, completely dedicated to spend qualitiy time with family or friends. The décor is exquisite due to renowned interior architects of shep&kyles design. Divided into three sections that seamlessly blend into one another, the entire floor has a very homely feel. Wooden elements, a neutral color palette and striking Bocci lighting dominate. The drawing room is decked out with a crackling log fireplace and an abundance of seating, be it the large L-shaped sofa or super-soft armchairs, all with fluffy cushions.
The fully-equipped streamlined cooking area has an American feel with a central kitchen unit. The stools at the breakfast bar are upholstered in faux fur. Somewhat separate stands a large rectangular dining table where 10 people can comfortably dine on midcentury-style chairs adorned with teal velvet padding. Underlining the 60's flair is a bubble chair dangling from the ceiling. From both the living and dining areas, several glass sliding doors lead out onto a wooden terrace, which features the hot tub.
With three of altogether four bedrooms, the first level is the main sleeping floor. All bedrooms are spacy, painstakingly designed and have en-suite facilities. The first floor bedrooms can either be figured as king-size doubles or twins and have shared access to the balcony offering glorious views across Les Gets to Mont Chéry. The largest bedroom is the wonderful master suite which occupies the entire top floor. From the comfort of a super-king sized bed - or while soaking in the roll top copper bathtub - one can observe the hustle and bustle on the piste. Additionally the master comes with a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite shower room with rainfall shower. Slightly separated but connected to the master is a small room that sleeps two children, thus making the fourth level suite perfect for a family.
Les Sapins luxury ski holiday chalet has even more to offer on the ground floor. First of all, there is the generously proportioned TV room, complete with a large pool table. Secondly, those who want to work out will find a fully equipped fitness room, and finally, the level is home to a convenient ski room with boot warmers. There is also ample off-road parking in front of Chalet Les Sapins.

Infos/Activities
Nestled at 1,172 metres altitude, in the heart of the Chablais massif, the resort of Les Gets is a natural, beautiful, preserved and lively holiday resort, where you simply feel good, where you feel "at home". As proof of this, the resort has been awarded the Qualité Tourisme label.
Dating back to the 11th century, the village cultivates an art of living in the mountains, an authenticity and friendliness that is much appreciated by the clientele. It also offers a rich cultural heritage, as well as a carefully selected wellness offer.
Wishing to promote soft mobility on its territory, the resort offers services to get around the village and its surroundings easily: covered car parks, free shuttles and a little train, electrically-assisted bicycles in summer, recharging points for electric cars...
Between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, 1 hour from Geneva airport, Les Gets is an integral part of the Franco-Swiss territory of the Portes du Soleil, one of the largest ski areas in the world. Its location on a pass is ideal for exceptional sunshine in all seasons.
For the pleasures of skiing, there are two areas on either side of the resort with a wide range of technical facilities for experts and beginners alike, not forgetting special play areas for children and a snow front in the heart of the resort, from which you can set off on skis.
At nightfall, the village and the snow front are adorned with magical illuminations. A perfect time to stroll through the streets and do a bit of shopping. The shops are numerous and varied: sports and equipment hire shops, delicatessens offering local produce, clothing and decoration boutiques, restaurants, bars, etc.
Les Portes du Soleil is a major ski sports destination in the northern French Alps (Chablais Alps) encompassing 12 resorts between Mont Blanc in France and Lake Geneva in Switzerland. With more than 650km of marked pistes and about 200 lifts in total, spread over 14 valleys and about 400 square miles Portes du Soleil ranks among the two largest ski areas in the world (the other being Les Trois Vallees). Almost all of the pistes are connected by lifts - only a few marginal towns can only be reached by the free bus services in the area. There are twelve resorts in the Portes du Soleil area, of which seven are French and five are Swiss.
Most of the resorts have grown around traditional valley villages - only Avoriaz and the very small Les Crosets and Torgon were purposely built during the mid-sixties. Morzine and Châtel are the largest of the traditional towns in the area. As a whole the skiing is relatively low in altitude compared to most French destinations. The highest skiing is just below 2,500 metres and the lowest approximately 900 metres.
However, the area is heavily influenced by the microclimate between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, which generates very substantial snowfall - with snow depths averaging up to eight metres a year - between November and April making it possible to keep the area open to skiing typically from early December until mid to late April. Some of the lower stations close around April 1 or earlier depending on snow conditions though.
