Up to nine guests can enjoy Chamois Lodge, half of an awe-inspiring building that is itself a landmark. Set in a secluded spot that perches guests in the perfect spot for magnificent Alpine views from four balconies, Chamois Lodge is also less than four minutes’ drive from either the chic center of St Martin – part of the Les 3 Vallées ski area with access to the lifts and some of the best skiing in the world.

Although it’s a brand new building, Chamois Lodge is very much a classic French Alpine chalet. That respect for the surrounding landscapes continues inside, where exposed wood, aged stone, furs and leathers remind you of a lifestyle shaped by its tough surroundings. Chamois is all luxury though, with a light and airy feel to this big, beautiful space that is very modern. There’s 156 square meters of space over three floors to enjoy, with three luxury super-king/twin rooms, including a superb family suite with a gorgeous bunk room for three young visitors, a hot tub and private terrace.

All the bedrooms are en-suite. Chamois Lodge looks wonderful, but it’s a space that must be embraced and enjoyed: sink back in big, stylish chairs and sofas while sunlight streams in through your giant windows and flames from the state-of-the-art cylindrical fire place keep you cozy, or gather round the giant dining table for wonderful Savoyard cuisine. The big living space opens out onto two balconies from where you can enjoy world-glass views. Light woods and clean contemporary design make the most of the high ceiling and exposed beams. Everywhere in Chamois Lodge you will find the best furnishings (Hypnos pocket-sprung beds with Egyptian cotton linen); services (iPod docks, satellite TVs, WiFi), and service (Chamois Lodge is usually rented with a staff of four, including chef and chauffeur).
