Val d'Isère centre is 10 min. on foot or 5 min by car. As guests enter, they are welcomed into an interior that exudes alpine charm. An open-plan living room and dining area set the stage for convivial gatherings, with a dining table that comfortably accommodates the guests. The focal point of the living area is a cozy fireplace, inviting relaxation and creating an intimate setting for pre-dinner gatherings. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow an abundance of natural light to flood the space, offering breathtaking views of the mountainous landscape. The chalet's interior design strikes a perfect balance between modern sophistication and alpine warmth. Doors from the living room open onto the south-facing balcony, creating a seamless connection between the interior and the alpine landscape.
A separate TV area provides a cozy space for entertainment. Ideal to watch movies after dinner. The first floor is a hub for socializing and relaxation. The ground floor of Chalet Genepy is dedicated to wellness, featuring a hammam and a generously sized swimming pool built into the rock face. The pool of Chalet Genepy comes equipped with its own sound system, providing an immersive and indulgent experience after a skiing day in Val d Isere.
On this level, three double bedrooms and a bunk room offer a haven of tranquility. Two of the double bedrooms boast en-suite facilities, while the third enjoys access to a separate bathroom. The bunk room, ideal for families or children sharing, shares a bathroom with one of the doubles. Ascending to the second floor reveals two additional bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts an en-suite bath and shower, while the second bedroom features its own shower. A dedicated ski room with boot warmers and lockers caters to the practical needs of winter sports enthusiasts. An elevator seamlessly connects all floors and ensures that even after a strenuous day, relaxation is just a lift ride away.

LUXURY SKI HOLIDAYS IN VAL D'ISÈRE
Val d'Isère’s charming village is a colorful winter sports haven, originally founded as a farming community centuries ago. Today, the village is home to around 1,800 residents, but during winter, this number swells to more than 30,000, thanks to the influx of skiers and visitors. The western and central parts of the village are easily recognizable for their classic chalet-style architecture, while the eastern part features modern high-rise buildings.
Historically significant, Val d'Isère received parish rights in 1637, and the parish church, built in 1664, remains a landmark at the heart of the village. Together with the nearby resort of Tignes, Val d'Isère is part of the Espace Killy, an area famously dubbed the "Most Beautiful Ski Area in the World". The resort is set at the base of a V-shaped valley and is accessible via La Daille, where you’ll pass by the Lac du Chevril. Beneath the lake lies the old town of Tignes, which was submerged in 1952 to create the new dam.
