Located on the edge of the old part of Val d'Isère, Chalet La Grange combines a beautiful, tranquil Alpine setting with easy access to the slopes. With a breathtaking view of the Face de Bellevarde, a cinema room, indoor pool with counter-current and other spa facilities, La Grange has everything holidayers need to make the most of a luxury ski vacation in one of the French Alps most renowned resorts.

La Grange chalet can accommodate up to 9 guests across a footprint of 370sqm distributed over four floors. The chalet houses four bedrooms with spa-style en-suite bathrooms and comfy soft furnishings. All of the bedrooms can configured as king-size doubles or twins, two have shared access to a balcony and one bedroom comes with an additional extra single bed. This room can be used as family suite. Located on the first floor is the spacious master suite with a walk-in wardrobe.

Due to large windows, warm woodwork and rich, colourful furnishings the living area on the top floor creates a welcoming atmosphere. Named for its cathedral style roof, winter holiday chalet La Grange has a spacious living room with study space and comfortable couches set around the fireplace.

The fully equipped modern kitchen divides the living room from the dining area which has a large wooden table placed under a sumptuous chandelier. From here doors lead out onto the balconies from where guests, after indulging on the private chef's evening delicacies, can take full advantage of the fabulous landscape and surrounding peaks dressed in white powder.

Chalet La Grange is also home to a private spa on the ground floor including a swimming pool with counter-current, sauna, steam room and massage cabin - perfect for relaxation after a fantastic day on the slopes. And for late night entertainment, there is a cinema room on the lower ground floor with Apple TV, DVD player, Onkyo amplifier and furnished with cushy divans and faux fur blankets to snuggle into. Other facilities include a ski room, laundry room and parking access.

Alpine chalet La Grange is part of a mountain hamlet that consists of four more superb private ski chalets. These homes away from home - Chalet Chêne, Chalet AmbreChalet Ebène and Chalet Séquoia - are all connected to each other by a tunnel below ground level.

Furthermore belonging to the hamlet is the La Mourra hotel where guests of the chalets are always welcome. In addition to having their own private areas and staff, chalet guests can enjoy all the 5-star hotel facilities including the spa, hotel bar, two excellent restaurants, concierge and in-resort shuttle service.

Our luxury ski chalets in Val d'Isère are available catered and self-catered, for the best luxury ski holidays ever. Some are Ski in/Ski out and many have swimming pools, sauna, hammam and hot tubs. Val d'Isère is located only five kilometres from Italy, on the border of the Vanoise National Park, created in 1963.

The ski resort Val d'Isère in the Savoie region of France, is a colourful winter sports haven that began as a farm community in the years B.C. The town received parish rights in 1637 and the parish church, which is still a landmark in the town centre, was built in 1664.

The charming village finds its 1,800 residents outnumbered 15 to one by guests in winter. The western and central areas of Val d'Isère are most recognizable by their "chalet" architecture, while in the eastern part of the town high-rise architecture dominates the landscape.

Along with nearby purpose-built Tignes the area forms part of the Espace Killy, the self-titled "Most Beautiful Ski Area in the World". Named for Olympic hero Jean-Claude Killy, who grew up in Val d'Isère, Val is the better-known part of the skiing region and one of the best ski destinations in the French Alps.

The Val d'Isère village is long and thin at the bottom of a deep V-shaped valley. As you approach the resort you pass by Lac du Chevril, under which the old town of Tignes (sunk in 1952) is found. You then enter Val d'Isère via La Daille where the Olympic downhill run finishes. This is a very popular way for skiers to leave the mountain on Val d'Isère holidays, as it is directly below the greatest après ski party in France at Folie Douce. The ski down at closing time is riotous but only recommended for strong intermediates and above. The Pissaillas Glacier offers summer skiing, as well as the usual winter fare.

The ski slopes themselves are equipped with a high-volume gondola, able to transport standing skiers, the funicular Funival from La Daille via a tunnel to the top of Bellevarde, traditional chair lifts - some with windshields and many detachable, button/disc-pulls - and tow-ropes. There are both groomed slopes and backcountry (off-piste) skiing. The slopes' difficulty levels are particularly high. However, as in Tignes there are grand, easy  pistes as well. It is first class off-piste country for powder addicts and there are many good guides available.
