Chalet Le Golden Jubilee is a wonderful wellness gateway in the high altitude winter sports resort Val Thorens where skiing is possible right into the month of June. Luxury Le Golden Jubilee ski chalet is everything you need for intimate, sporty, cocooning, relaxing and warm moments. This private ski chalet is built on the mountainside, at the top of the French holiday resort in the heart of „The Three Valleys“.
Le Golden Jubilee is a three-story chalet of 340sqm and can accommodate up to 12 people. The south-oriented chalet allows guests to enjoy stunning views of the world's largest ski area and the resort, all in a privileged natural setting. Le Golden Jubilee is a luxurious and ultra-cosy home away from home, made of noble materials - solid wood, black granite, leather, wool, fur - and comfort. Le Golden Jubilee chalet also offers a spa and relaxation area with indoor swimming pool.
Skiing chalet Le Golden Jubilee boasts five spacious bedrooms (with king-sized beds or 2 twin beds on request). All these bedrooms are en-suite (bath and shower or shower room). One bedroom has the privilege of its own private balcony, four bedrooms have access to shared balconies. Ideally located on the top floor the splendid open plan living space enchants with touches of brightly coloured furniture, giving this area a unique charm. Large south-facing bay windows and a vast balcony invite to unwind while enjoying panoramic views on the impressive beauty of the surrounding snowy peaks.
Guests can also gather around the living rooms central fireplace and warm up after exhausting days on the slopes. Opening out onto each other are the fully equipped kitchen and dining area - also located on the top floor of this beautiful winter holiday chalet. Finally, the spa area of 45sqm is a wonderful place to relax. Guests in chalet Le Golden Jubilee should make the most of every moment and take a dip in the chalet's sublime private indoor pool, with counter-current swimming and hydromassage jets, which is simply exceptional. There is also a hot tub, steam room/hammam and sauna.
For larger groups, Chalet Golden Jubilee can be rented along with Chalet Orlov and Chalet Cullinan to easily accommodate up to 34 people. When staying in one of the three Koh-I-Nor chalets, guests have access to the 800sqm Spa - swimming pool, sauna, hammam, Jacuzzi, massages, beauty treatments - gym and restaurant of the nearby 5-star luxury l’hôtel Koh-I-Nor.

Val Thorens, the highest ski town in Europe, sits at an altitude of 2300m in the Tarentaise Valley. It is located in the commune of Saint-Martin-de-Belleville in the Savoie département of the French Alps. LUXURY SKI HOLIDAYS IN VAL THORENS
Val Thorens is now one of the most successful resorts in the Alps. Given the high altitude of Val Thorens and the Glacier de Péclet the often large volume of snow means that the resort is usually open from mid-November until early May. The highest ski-able peaks are Pointe du Bouchet (3220m) and Cime de Caron (3200m), with its cable car of the same name, one of the biggest in the world with a capacity of 150+1 passengers.
Many of the slopes in Val Thorens face north and north-west, providing good snow conditions. This means that the slopes are not as sunny, so the resort tends to attract a crowd more interested in skiing than "terracing". However, the resort itself faces south, and many people enjoy sitting outside in the sunshine when they have finished skiing. Val Thorens has a total of 68 marked runs, and several terrain parks. The main snow park sees top level freestyle competitions every winter as it hosts a stage of the national SFR Slopestyle Tour, and the ski cross arena is frequently visited by the FIS Skier X World Cup. Jean-Fred Chapuis, who won the Skier X event at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, hails from Val Thorens and the ski cross track is named after him.
Val Thorens is the most visited international ski resort in France: more than 70% of its visitors are foreigners. While one will find people from all over the world in Val Thorens, British, Scandinavian, Belgian, Dutch and German tourists make up the majority.
