Luxury chalet Galena in Verbier can accommodate 5 guests. Enjoy a stay in an inviting ambience with modern indoor finishes. Just a 3-minute drive from the Savolyeres ski lift station, guests can be whisked up the mountain to hit the slopes and can easily explore to the rest of the expansive 4 Vallées ski area. The center of town is a 6-minute drive down the hill, and there are good connections available with a regularly-serviced bus stop at the end of the road.

Entering the chalet through the garden gate via a very private entrance nestled among pine trees, you are greeted by the entrance hall and a boot room with plenty of available space for your outerwear. Up a small flight of stairs are the open-plan study area and living space, where cosy sofas invite you to take in the sweeping views. There is also a flat-screen TV and Sonos throughout the space.

French doors open out onto a small balcony where two chairs offer a perfect spot for morning coffee, and the views of the snowcapped mountains are simply breathtaking. You are completely un-overlooked here, and the area is peaceful and quiet. Following some steps down to the main garden, you will find a semi-covered terrace with an outdoor table seating four, a barbeque, two sun loungers, and a small grassy area where children can enjoy playing in the snow.

Dividing the living room from the open-plan kitchen and dining area are a small flight of stairs and a unique wood-burning fireplace, with glass on both sides allowing it to be enjoyed in both areas of the chalet. Here, a round dining table seats up to five, with a glass door opening straight out to the terrace. Surrounding the table is the spacious and modern kitchen, with sleek cabinetry and high-quality fixtures providing the perfect setting and all the necessary equipment for cooking family dinners during your stay. Behind a sliding door is the pantry area and a laundry room.

On the top floor of this beautiful chalet and accessible by a flight of floating stairs from the living area, is the master bedroom. With wall-to-wall wardrobes, a plush double bed and french doors flooding the space with light and offering the same incredible views, you can wake up above the clouds each morning. There is also a small private balcony, and a spacious en-suite with a separate bath and shower, toilet, and his n’ hers sinks. Across a small landing on the same floor is the single bedroom, with a small wardrobe space and single bed. We can also provide a cot if required.

The final bedroom occupies the bottom floor, with a neutral colour palate accented by pop art, generous wardrobe space and a double bed. There is also a shower room with a toilet on this floor.

There is a separate indoor parking garage with one designated parking space for guest use.

Located in the canton of Valais in southwestern Switzerland, Verbier forms part of the expansive 4 Vallées ski area, linking with Nendaz, Veysonnaz, La Tzoumaz, and Thyon. Set at 1,500 metres altitude, the resort offers panoramic views of the Mont Blanc and Grand Combin massifs.

SKIING IN VERBIER

Located at 1,500 metres altitude, Verbier enjoys spectacular views across the Mont Blanc Massif and the snow-capped peaks of the Grand Combin range. The resort lies at the heart of Les 4 Vallées, one of Europe’s largest linked ski areas, with over 412 km of groomed pistes connecting Verbier with La Tzoumaz, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, and Thyon. This world-class domain caters to all levels - from gentle nursery slopes at Les Esserts for beginners, to exhilarating descents on Mont Fort (3,330m) for advanced skiers. Verbier is a true freeride mecca, attracting expert skiers with steep couloirs, challenging off-piste terrain, and marked itineraries like Tortin and Mt Gelé.

The main lift station at Médran whisks skiers to Les Ruinettes (2,200m) via a 6-seater gondola, with further connections to Attelas at 2,723m and beyond. Glacier skiing is possible in summer, and heli-skiing offers unforgettable drops at Trient, Petit Combin, Pigne d’Arolla, and Rosablanche. For low-visibility days, the tree-lined slopes of Bruson provide reliable snow and fewer crowds. Verbier’s dynamic ski scene also hosts major events such as the Xtreme Verbier, the finale of the Freeride World Tour, and the famous Patrouille des Glaciers ski touring race from Zermatt.

RESTAURANTS & BARS IN VERBIER

When it comes to dining Verbier offers a multitude of opportunities - from family places where you can eat pizza and pasta to gourmet Michelin-starred restaurants. Visitors shouldn't miss to make a reservation at Chez Dany, one of the few typical Alpine restaurants on the ski slopes in Verbier with probably the most beautiful sun terrace with a great view. At 1,722m altitude the perfect place for a lunch break or to end a day of skiing with local food and delicious Valais wines. A must-do of course is La Rouge with its two sun-drenched outdoor terraces. At an altitude of 1,550m directly between the two main lift stations, Médran and Savoleyres - at the foot of the Le Rouge run - this infamous venue has ski in/ski out links to the main ski domain plus 360-degree panoramic views from Col des Mines, to the Combins, the Dents du midi, the glacier du Trient and Pierre Avoi.

An absolute hot spot for après-ski! We also recommend booking a table at La Table d’Adrien restaurant - in winter and summer - presents a gastronomic offer inspired by the mountain environment and the proximity of lakes and rivers between Valais, Italy and France. At La Cordée restaurant, guests can enjoy refined, globally inspired cuisine - dishes that are both elegant and inventive, blending flavours from around the world. Also worth visiting are W Kitchen and, unique in Verbier, Eat-Hola Tapas Bar in the village centre on Rue de Médran.

THINGS TO DO IN VERBIER

The vibrant event calendar keeps the resort lively with celebrations like New Year’s Eve, the Polaris electronic music festival, and the annual Verbier Art Summit. One of the winter season’s biggest highlights is the Xtreme Verbier, the Freeride World Tour finale on the legendary Bec des Rosses.
