Description

Apartment Turquino Zermatt. A spacious duplex on the top two floors of the Turquino C chalet, the accommodation comfortably sleeps 6-10 guests in 4 bedrooms. This holiday apartment has a picturesque view of the Matterhorn and is a 3 minutes' walk to the Winkelmatten chapel (red line bus stop), from where it is a further 5 minutes to the Matterhorn Express gondola station.
 
The apartment’s entrance is on the second floor of the Turquino C building (no lift) and on this level are the south-facing living area, which has a fireplace, and the open plan kitchen/dining room, all of which with access to a sunny balcony/terrace with views of the Matterhorn. There is also a large twin/double bedroom with a balcony, and a spacious quad bunk room. Bathroom with double lavabo, bath and toilet, second bathroom with lavabo, shower and toilet.
 
Access to the upper level is by a wood spiral staircase and there are a further two large twin/double bedrooms, one with a south-facing balcony, the other with a balcony looking towards the north and the magnificent Dom and Täscherhorn peaks. Bathroom with double lavabo, bath and toilet.
 
Tastefully decorated in a modern style and with exposed wood rafters, various original artworks adorn the walls along with many fascinating maps. There is cable TV in the living room and a sound system as well as wifi. Each of the bathrooms has a hairdryer. The kitchen is fully equipped. Local restaurants less than 5 minutes walk away as well as numerous possibilities in the village. Communal ski room or option to leave rented equipment at the free storage facility next to the gondola station.
