This property is a unique, world-class uber luxurious chalet for up to 10 guests in Switzerland's best Alpine ski resort, something that must be experienced to be appreciated.
McKinley is a four-story building, fitted out and styled to combine the best Alpine traditions with light, spacious, modern design. The chalet is entered via an impressive entrance hall with lobby and central living room. There is also a relaxing area with bar. A superbly equipped gym is on the upper floor of the living room.
The sleeping accommodation is split between the first and second stories, with three double rooms with en-suite shower rooms and balconies on the first floor and two master suites - one with a dressing room, both with en-suite shower rooms and balconies - on the second. On the first floor, a TV and games room has the latest entertainment technology – and some traditional fun-and-games - for evenings in.
The second floor is completed with a large and sumptuously designed private spa and wellness area that features a hot tub, hammam-style steam room, a sauna, plunge pool, chill-out area and massage room. The open-plan living and dining area built around a fireplace, an imposing dining table, huge picture windows, opening to the balcony with seating area, and enormous, soft sofas, dominates the third floor.
The lines are clean and modern and there’s a feeling of space that you don’t always find in Alpine residences. A masterpiece of style. The views from the balcony, which runs around two walls, feel even more expansive. McKinley is perfectly placed to get the most out of Zermatt. On your doorstep is some of the finest après ski, gourmet dining, sophisticated socializing and shopping in the world. The Sunnegga funicular is a few minutes’ walk away, offering fast access to the wonderful pistes.
Chalet McKinley guests who travel with their own car can use the secure car parks at Täsch (5km from Zermatt) before completing their journey by taxi or the super modern shuttle train. This takes about 10 minutes.
