Extraordinary family luxury apartment in Chalet Haus Leytron, Zermatt. To live up to a location in the "Petit Village" of Zermatt a property must be extraordinary. The refurbished luxury ski Chalet Haus Leytron surpasses those requirements. It is a huge duplex apartment of superb quality for up to ten guests and especially welcoming to large family groups.

The "Petit Village" development is a recent luxury development built to access the Sunnegga lift. In the luxury Haus Leytron that means not only having the option to ski back close to the apartment (for good skiers), but also fantastic views of the world famous Matterhorn.

The views over the village are just as magical when the resort lights are twinkling. Those views are made the most of in a double-height windows in the open-plan living and dining area on the lower floor. A piano is one entertainment focus, but there’s also a large-screen TV, and the views through huge windows look wonderful from big, comfy sofas in front of your wood burning fire.

The styling mixes traditional Alpine themes, with wood paneling and flooring, with the most luxurious furniture to produce an ambience of warmth, welcome, and companionship. An excellent kitchen, with breakfast bar counter, serves a big dining table – with yet more grandstand Alpine views – serves a dining table that can seat all of Haus Leytron’s guests. Kids can sleep on this floor, in a children’s bunk room for up to four smaller guests, who have their own en-suite shower and WC.

Upstairs, along with a mezzanine balcony over the living space, the master suite is surrounded by big balconies. It’s huge, with its own sauna as part of its en-suite facilities. Two en-suite twin/double bedrooms also have balconies and big baths.

With a two-hundred-and-seventy square metre footprint there is room to spare in luxury Haus Leytron. The TVs have international cable channels and there is Wifi throughout. Shared facilities include ski lockers and laundry. Guests can also enjoy the indoor spa area which is separate to the apartment, but in the same building. Private to the apartment, there is an indoor hot tub for soaking tired legs.
