Luxury Apartment Basalte is located in the 'Trois Rock' complex, in the heart of the ski resort Verbier. It offers amazing views of the Val du Bagnes and the mountains. The large four-bedroom apartment is modern designed and close the main lift station in Verbier. The apartment is the ideal for keen skiers who like to be on the slopes early. Rich textured fabrics combined with natural wood flooring and beams create a warm and traditional environment. Sleeping eight people in four double bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms or shower rooms, this apartment is prefect for a family or group of friends. You enter the apartment into the spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining room, an ideal space for relaxing and entertaining.

The focal point of the living area is the large stone fireplace, where you can enjoy a post ski catch up on the sumptuous sofas. The room is bathed in light from the large glass sliding doors that lead out onto the south facing terrace where you can take in the mountain sunset. The large wooden dining table comfortably seats 10 people and the kitchen is well equipped. There is also a small office area tucked in the corner of the living area. Three of the bedrooms are situated to the rear of the property. The 3 double bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms and are decorated in neutral tones with natural wood to create a relaxing atmosphere.

The fourth bedroom is the master and is located to the front of the property. With en-suite bathroom and large sliding doors that lead out on to the balcony, it is the perfect place to soak up the last rays of sunshine. There is a private ski and laundry room on lower ground floor of the apartment building, where you can safely store your ski equipment.

RESTAURANTS & BARS IN VERBIER

When it comes to dining Verbier offers a multitude of opportunities - from family places where you can eat pizza and pasta to gourmet Michelin-starred restaurants. Visitors shouldn't miss to make a reservation at Chez Dany, one of the few typical Alpine restaurants on the ski slopes in Verbier with probably the most beautiful sun terrace with a great view. At 1,722m altitude the perfect place for a lunch break or to end a day of skiing with local food and delicious Valais wines. A must-do of course is La Rouge with its two sun-drenched outdoor terraces. At an altitude of 1,550m directly between the two main lift stations, Médran and Savoleyres - at the foot of the Le Rouge run - this infamous venue has ski in/ski out links to the main ski domain plus 360 degree panoramic views from Col des Mines, to the Combins, the Dents du midi, the glacier du Trient and Pierre Avoi. An absolute hot spot for après-ski! We also recommend to book a table at La Table d’Adrien restaurant where chef Sebastiano Lombardi - in winter and summer - presents a gastronomic offer inspired by the mountain environment and the proximity of lakes and rivers between Valais, Italy and France. At La Cordée restaurant, chef Romain Maillot - with his origins from the island of La Réunion - creates dishes that are often surprising, always elegant and drenched in excellence - an exciting fusion of influences from cuisines around the world. Also worth visiting are W Kitchen and, unique in Verbier, Eat-Hola Tapas Bar in the village centre on Rue de Médran.

SKIING IN VERBIER

At an altitude of 1,500m holidaymakers are able to see the eternal snows of the Combins and even the Mont Blanc Massif in France. The popular luxury ski resort Verbier - situated in the middle of one of Europe's largest skiing areas, "Les 4 Vallées" (connecting Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon und La Tzoumaz) - offers the opportunity to explore 412km of daily groomed downhill runs for enthusiasts of all levels.

The glacier runs stay open during summer too. Verbier's main lift station is Médran in the centre of the ski resort. To get up to 2,200m to Les Ruinettes a 6-person telecabine is available. There is also a 30-person telecabine that brings you up to Attelas at an altitude of 2,723m.
