Sleeping 10, Ivouette is a luxury duplex apartment with excellent spa facilities that is perfectly situated for both Verbier’s superb skiing and its vibrant après ski scene. Rue de Médran is the heart of this exciting resort, a world center of excellence for powder skiing and for its social scene. Ivouette is a short walk from this exciting street where you’ll find a vibrant dining and drinking scene, and the Médran lifts, the main gondolas for the superb Alpine pistes of this legendary resort. Split over two floors, this cleverly laid-out property puts its sleeping accommodation on the lower story to make the most of some wonderful views from the main living area through giant windows towards Mont Blanc.

Entering the apartment one encounters the main sleeping accommodation. There are four twin/double rooms, all en-suite, and two with access to the garden via French windows. There’s also a TV room/study that’s a perfect escape for guests who want to spend some time alone. The first floor is built around an open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen space that will be at the heart of your stay. Traditional styling fits perfectly with the Alpine surroundings, with muted colors and an emphasis on coziness and comfort that invites you to spend time together around the fireplaces. Although this is an apartment, the ceilings of this spacious area are high, and the windows huge - light comes pouring in - and a large terrace awaits outside for aperitifs or morning coffee in the sun.

There is also terrace access from the master suite on the top floor. There’s no better feeling than waking up to superb mountain views, or preparing for bed with romantic starlight views of the world’s most famous snowscapes. A small sauna repairs any mental or physical aches and pains from the slopes and will leave you bursting with energy and ready to get back onto your skis. A shared ski room and indoor parking complete the facilities at this super apartment. This luxury property in Verbier is beautiful both inside and out and, with its lovely garden, is also worth considering as a summer escape.

RESTAURANTS & BARS IN VERBIER

When it comes to dining Verbier offers a multitude of opportunities - from family places where you can eat pizza and pasta to gourmet Michelin-starred restaurants. Visitors shouldn't miss to make a reservation at Chez Dany, one of the few typical Alpine restaurants on the ski slopes in Verbier with probably the most beautiful sun terrace with a great view. At 1,722m altitude the perfect place for a lunch break or to end a day of skiing with local food and delicious Valais wines. A must-do of course is La Rouge with its two sun-drenched outdoor terraces. At an altitude of 1,550m directly between the two main lift stations, Médran and Savoleyres - at the foot of the Le Rouge run - this infamous venue has ski in/ski out links to the main ski domain plus 360 degree panoramic views from Col des Mines, to the Combins, the Dents du midi, the glacier du Trient and Pierre Avoi. An absolute hot spot for après-ski! We also recommend to book a table at La Table d’Adrien restaurant where chef Sebastiano Lombardi - in winter and summer - presents a gastronomic offer inspired by the mountain environment and the proximity of lakes and rivers between Valais, Italy and France. At La Cordée restaurant, chef Romain Maillot - with his origins from the island of La Réunion - creates dishes that are often surprising, always elegant and drenched in excellence - an exciting fusion of influences from cuisines around the world. Also worth visiting are W Kitchen and, unique in Verbier, Eat-Hola Tapas Bar in the village centre on Rue de Médran.

SKIING IN VERBIER

At an altitude of 1,500m holidaymakers are able to see the eternal snows of the Combins and even the Mont Blanc Massif in France. The popular luxury ski resort Verbier - situated in the middle of one of Europe's largest skiing areas, "Les 4 Vallées" (connecting Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon und La Tzoumaz) - offers the opportunity to explore 412km of daily groomed downhill runs for enthusiasts of all levels.

The glacier runs stay open during summer too. Verbier's main lift station is Médran in the centre of the ski resort. To get up to 2,200m to Les Ruinettes a 6-person telecabine is available. There is also a 30-person telecabine that brings you up to Attelas at an altitude of 2,723m.
