Description

This superb luxury villa Armin on Mykonos has everything that makes Greek island life so special, sleeps 20. But the holiday Villa Armin is very far from typical. It pays respects to a timeless tradition while elevating simple pleasures to an outstanding level of style and sophistication for up to 20 guests. A beautiful setting is the foundation on which to build your Greek island paradise, and the exclusive Villa Armin sits perfectly in one of the best spots on Mykonos. From its perch on the island’s slopes, guests take in perfect, uninterrupted Aegean views from dawn to dusk. A private beach (Loulos) is just 50 meters away, while Kalo Livadi beach – one of the longest on the island – is a 650-metre walk. You really will get a sense of endless beauty from the infinity pool here: 24-metres of relaxation perfection with a Jacuzzi alongside that is just the place to drift into holiday bliss as you watch the sun rise and fall over the turquoise sea.

A Greek summer demands that you spend time outside, and the wide open spaces in front of the luxury villa have room for everyone. Welcoming day beds and sun loungers await sun worshippers, while a shaded dining area is cool by day, and can be the focus of an evening of wonderful wood-fired cooking, music, and talk enjoyed around a giant table or in  beside beautiful stone walls. Villa Armin is built in the classic Cycladic style, with a low profile, and simple, straight lines giving it a feeling of symmetry and strength that sits perfectly in this landscape. It is elegant though, timelessly beautiful and wonderfully set up inside as a playground and sanctuary for large parties. The ground floor is built around the main living and dining area, with a top-quality kitchen. Most guests will eat outside,  there is a large dining table, and lovely, comfortable sofas and chairs in which to relax. A home cinema set-up downstairs is child friendly, with beanbags for youngsters to sprawl out on while they enjoy a giant TV screen. Sleeping accommodation in this three-level building also starts on the ground floor, with direct access to the terrace from four double bedrooms (two large, and two small). All are en-suite with either bath or shower bathrooms. Upstairs – or a short elevator ride up - are two more double bedrooms, including a fantastic master suite with two bathrooms and walk-in wardrobe. There’s also an office on the top floor. The final level is a lower floor with three more bedrooms (a twin and two small doubles) all with private bathrooms.

Cool, clean white is the dominant color throughout the luxurious villa Armin. The bedrooms stay true to classic, minimal Greek villa style, with simple, beautifully elegant and comfortable furnishings working with contrasting flashes of color in linen, tiles, and cleverly chosen art works. Each room is individually styled, and some of the bathrooms are works of art in their own right. The villa is fully air conditioned, and there is Wi-Fi access throughout and major satellite TV channels. This exclusive summer villa is wonderfully set to make the most of Mykonos, where you will find everything from traditional tavernas to Michelin-starred dining; world-class contemporary night life, and places of solitude and calm where time seems to stand still.

Infos/Activities

Mykonos is a destination for all types of people. From jet setters to college students and families, Mykonos is Greece's most well-known and popular island and the people you see are from all walks of life, from every country. Everybody goes there, from Keith Richards to famous politicians, designers, newscasters, basketball players and coaches, kings, queens and commoners all make Mykonos their first choice in holiday destination. This is the Ibiza of Greece!

A beautiful island in the Cyclades, which looks just like the postcards: white little houses with flowers and blue windows and doors, hand painted streets, windmills, pigeon keepers, chimneys, lots of little churches and wonderful restaurants and cafes. The nightlife is very developed and you will see a lot of eccentrics especially at night time. It is a glamorous place for the rich and famous, which is painfully clear to whoever has a look at the prices on the menus.

Mykonos - according to mythology - was where Heracles killed the giants. The rocks around the island are supposedly their corpses!
