Description

Chalet Bois du Ban stands as a posh five-bedroom getaway - sleeping a maximum of 10 guests - across five eye-catching floors boasting top-notch amenities in a great location. Sitting on the outskirts of Courchevel 1300 (Le Praz), this classy ski chalet is a quick five-minute stroll from both the snow front plus the speedy gondola, running from 7.45am to 11.30pm to Courchevel 1850, linking ski lovers to the vast Three Valleys ski area..

At the holiday chalet's peak, the spacious open-plan living area shows off stunning modern design mixing natural stone and wood to create a classy yet welcoming feel. A comfy lounge area gives plenty of room to relax, with plush furniture and an eye-catching fireplace in the middle adding warmth and appeal to the room. To find a quieter spot, a snug reading nook offers the ideal place to snuggle up with a book or the daily papers while still soaking in the lively vibe of the chalet.

Large windows from floor to ceiling let lots of daylight into the room showing off amazing wide views of the valley and mountains nearby. Walk out to the big balcony where fresh mountain air and stunning views make a perfect place to have your morning coffee or evening drink. The stylish dining space and bar are in just the right place for breakfasts with baked pastries or rich evening meals shared with family and friends.

The mountain chalet offers five well-designed bedrooms to ensure peaceful nights in comfort. The first floor has three stylish double/twin rooms each with its own bathroom featuring modern showers and access to a private balcony. The master bedroom adds an extra touch of indulgence with a deep bathtub to soothe sore muscles. One of these rooms is adapted for guests with limited mobility making sure everyone can enjoy luxury.

The ground floor houses two more double/twin bedrooms that keep the chalet's elegant look, with en-suite bathrooms and a beautiful mix of local wood and grey slate. This combination creates a balance between modern design and alpine tradition.

The true showstopper of Chalet Bois du Ban sits on the lower level - a private spa retreat built to help you unwind. A heated pool, sauna, and quiet rest area offer a peaceful getaway after a day on the pistes surrounding you with calm. One floor down, guests find the chalet's movie room - a cosy space with comfortable couches and immersive surround sound perfect for watching films together.

Furthermore, Chalet Bois du Ban is equipped with laundry facilities, an elevator providing easy access to all floors, and a dedicated ski room complete with heated boot warmers and ample storage. Ski addicted holidayers arriving by car will enjoy private garage parking.

Summing up, it is safe to say: With its top-notch spot, fancy interiors, and loads of spa features, Chalet Bois du Ban sets the stage for a memorable top-tier skiing trip in the French Alps‘ holiday resort Courchevel 1300.

Infos/Activities

Courchevel Le Praz is part of the five villages that form the ski resort of Courchevel. At 1,300m the perfect place for a family or friends' skiing holiday in a typically Savoyard environment.

Le Praz is a quality winter sports resort located in the Tarentaise Valley in the Savoie region of the French Alps. It is part of Les Trois Vallées, the worlds largest interlinked ski area with 600km of marked pistes, trails and unlimited off piste terrain. The whole area is very popular and highly recommended by the rich and famous. The Courchevel Valley boasts a very reliable snow record and picturesque ski in/ski out villages.

You could ski or snowboard The Three Valleys terrain for weeks and not cover it all. "Zen Zones" or beginner improvement zones were introduced in the Courchevel Valley. The zones are located in 1850, 1650 and Le Praz - specifically designed for beginners and nervous skiers. The lifts are easy to access and the slopes are very well groomed and uncrowded. There are seven ski and snowboard schools in the Courchevel Valley with more than 650 instructors speaking 25 different languages. Lessons and packages are available for all ages and ability levels.

The four fabulous ski in/ski out villages are all named for their altitudes: Courchevel 1850, Courchevel 1550, Courchevel 1650 and Courchevel 1300. Undoubtedly Courchevel 1850 is the largest and most popular with the majority of accommodation, more than 100 shops, cafés, restaurants, luxury boutiques and bars. The Courchevel villages offer Michelin awarded gourmet restaurants serving traditional local French, Savoyard Italian, Spanish and Asian cuisine.
